Group Exercise Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, professional, and certified Group Exercise Instructor to join our team at Workshoppe Fitness. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead group fitness classes (e.g., HIIT, Pilates, Yoga, Strength Training, Dance) that are safe, effective, and aligned with the club’s standards.
  • Create a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere that promotes member engagement and retention.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.
  • Modify exercises to accommodate various fitness levels and address special considerations.
  • Ensure studio equipment is maintained, sanitized, and safely arranged before and after sessions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and continuing education.
  • Collaborate with other team members and management to develop programming that reflects the club’s luxury brand and wellness philosophy.
  • Promote upcoming classes, programs, and special events in alignment with the club’s marketing strategies.
  • Maintain punctuality, professional appearance, and adherence to the club’s etiquette.

 

Qualifications:

  • Current nationally recognized Group Fitness certification (e.g., ACE, AFAA, NASM, Les Mills, Yoga Alliance, etc.).
  • CPR/AED certification required.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching group classes in a premium fitness or wellness environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate and connect with members.
  • High level of professionalism, dependability, and enthusiasm.
  • Experience in a luxury or hospitality-focused environment is a strong plus.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Multiple modality certifications (e.g., spin, barre, aqua fitness, functional training).
  • Experience with luxury clientele or resort/hotel wellness programming.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 – $120.00 per hour
